Devices

The Devices page of the CaptureCast Pro recorder allows you to view information about the video and audio devices you are using with the recorder. We recommend you assign a name (alias) to each audio/video input for ease of template creation (Don't forget to press the Save Settings button after). You can also use Live Preview to view the audio/video source feeds in real time.

Redetect

If your video sources are not showing up (i.e., showing up as a black screen) hit the Redetect button on the top right hand corner of the page.

Redetection will look for all devices connected to the CaptureCast Pro. If the recorder still won't detect a specific device you may need to:

While problems like these are rare, they do occur on occasion due to complex setups. If this problem is persistent please contact your Cattura Video Support Engineer or create a ticket within Zendesk for direct access to our technical staff.

You will not be allowed to redetect during capture events, since the the devices will be in use. If you do push redetect and it seems to be taking longer than usual, please just refresh the page. * Note: The recorder will auto redetect between after each capture. This is normal behavior.
